Tattoo

My primary focus is realism, using a tattooing technique known as ‘rastelado,’ which creates the delicate effect seen in my tattoos. Additionally, this technique is gentle on the skin and causes less pain for the client.

— a piece of art that becomes a part of you instead of being hung on a wall.

I design exclusive artwork so that each client has a unique and personal mark for the rest of their life.

Due to my fascination with nature, I often receive requests inspired by it, but I also create from other inspirations.

Live Stamping

Live stamping is a technique in which I use the actual plant as a stamp, but it can also include dried seaweed, shells, or objects like old keys. These elements serve as the guide for the tattoo. The plant, seaweed, or object is the living model; I observe it during the process and capture as many details as possible.

Each tattoo becomes a unique mark, just like its source of inspiration and the person who wears it.

If you have a specific request or want to collaborate on an idea that hasn’t yet materialized, feel free to reach out.

The process begins with my research, and the art is created together with the client during the session.

No, we don’t do this because of copyright reasons and also because of our tight schedule. All designs are done during the session. In case you have in mind a very complex design, size and placement, let us know in the form, this way we can schedule enough time for your session or schedule a consultation.

It’s ok if you still don’t have a clear idea of what exact design you want. As long as you have some ideas we can sit down and create something special and unique for you.

Do you tattoo on fingers?

Yes I do, but please remember that the fingers skin is a very delicate area and is prominent to fading. In case you decide to tattoo this area and want a retouch (if needed) is your full responsibility and will be charged as a normal session.

Can I go surfing?

You can’t go into the water for at least 5 days or until your body is fully healed. The reason for this is to avoid any infection and allow the tattoo to heal properly.

Is your ink safe?

Yes, we use Dynamic Color ink which is a safe non-toxic vegan ink.

Can my partner and I use the same needle to get a lower price?

This is a big no. All sessions are done with a new disposable needle in order to avoid any health risks.

TATTOO CARE

PRE-TATTOO CARE

Before coming to the studio, it’s important to have a good night’s sleep. Also, make sure to be well-fed and hydrated. If the area to be tattooed has hair, we will remove it here at the studio using a disposable blade. If you have any allergies to the blade, it’s advisable to remove the hair beforehand in the least aggressive way for your skin. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. If you are a woman and need to remove your shirt in the area where the tattoo will be done, remember to wear a comfortable top. If it’s cold, we have blankets available to keep you warm

POST-TATTOO CARE

On the first day, it’s crucial to clean and moisturize the area properly. After a few hours, remove the plastic wrap covering the new tattoo. With clean hands, wash the tattoo with fragrance-free antibacterial or baby soap. Gently pat it dry with a clean towel. Apply coconut oil or a thin layer of fragrance-free and alcohol-free moisturizer at least 3 times a day.

On the first night after getting your tattoo, use plastic wrap while you sleep; this prevents friction and possible skin irritation and keeps your sheets clean, as it’s normal for some ink to come off in the initial days. Whenever you are in a clean environment with no risk of infection, leave the covering off to allow the skin to breathe and the tattoo to heal. Wear loose, lightweight clothing to avoid irritating the skin. If you need to wear clothes that might drag on the tattoo and cause irritation, wrap the area with plastic to minimize friction and irritation.

When the tattoo starts to form scabs, continue moisturizing whenever you feel the skin is dry. This helps in forming fewer scabs and softens existing ones, improving the final result of the tattoo. Do not pick at scabs or scratch, as this can remove parts of the ink.

Until the tattoo is fully healed, which takes between 5 to 15 days, avoid direct sunlight, swimming in the sea or pool, and activities that cause excessive sweating, such as saunas.

After healing, always use sunscreen with an SPF of 40 or higher. Do not use sunscreen before the tattoo is fully healed. These steps are essential to keep your tattoo looking perfect even as the years go by. The worst enemies of your tattoo are the sun and dryness.

If you experience poor healing or notice that the tattoo is inflamed (red and/or swollen), it is recommended to contact a dermatologist. They can assess the best ointment for infection without affecting ink absorption.
